Support Services
Throughout its history, the Aurora University community has come together to help one another. We understand that life can be challenging and, at times, you may need additional support. AU is dedicated to helping connect you with the resources you need to succeed as a student. From navigating academic resources and services to finding housing, food, and clothing, you can find support through the following programs.
The Academic Support Center offers academic coaching, tutoring, and writing support to enhance learning beyond the classroom and help foster lifelong learning.
Students can receive free and confidential individual counseling, relationship counseling, and group therapy, as well as attend seminars/workshops on a variety of topics related to mental health and well-being.
Students with a qualifying disability who are interested in obtaining academic and/or housing accommodations from AU can begin the process by registering with the Disability Resource Office.
Libby’s Place is an on-campus food pantry that offers non-perishable food and toiletries weekly. Perishable foods, such as eggs, cheese, and milk are also offered twice a month.

The Housing and Opportunities that are Useful for Students' Excellence (HOUSE) liaison is available to help provide information and resources for those struggling with housing or food insecurities.
Tango’s Pantry is a student-run, on-campus pet food pantry that offers free dog, cat, and fish food. The pantry is available to students every third Tuesday and Thursday of the month in the Wackerlin Center and is sponsored by Unleashed, AU’s Human-Animal Studies student organization.
