Types of Global Experiences
Short-Term Study Away
Begin your experience in the AU classroom and see what you learn come to life through one to two weeks of faculty-led travel to a destination either in the U.S. or abroad.
Long-Term Study Away
Work with an advisor to plan a semester-long opportunity to study abroad at an academic institution or complete an internship. These opportunities offer immersion in a chosen culture and/or language while earning academic credit. Not all programs require foreign language fluency.
Virtual International Internships
Explore opportunities to engage in a global work environment without leaving the U.S.
