Freshmen who started in the fall semester have three required check-ins with their advisor throughout the year to review their progress and plan future classes:
- SOAR: Summer Orientation and Registration advising session
- Registration appointment for spring 2027
- This appointment is made at the mandatory Prep for Success event on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
- Registration appointment for 2027–2028 academic year
- More information about setting up this appointment will be shared to your AU email in February 2027.
