Registration Information for Students with 30-59 Credits

Registration Opens Soon!

Beginning Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 12 p.m. (CST), students who have earned 30-59 semester hours will be able to register for summer 2025, fall 2025, and spring 2026 courses through Self-Service > Student Planning.

Before You Register

Complete Your Financial Responsibility Agreement
Before registering, you must accept the Financial Responsibility Agreement for 2025-2026. You can complete this step any time before registration begins.

Check for Holds on Your Account
If you have any holds (e.g., unpaid balance, missing immunization records), you will not be able to register until they are resolved. Please check your account and contact the appropriate department if needed.

  • Student Account hold questions, call Student Accounts at 630-844-5470
  • Immunization hold questions, call Health Services at 630-844-5434

Plan Your Courses Carefully
If you receive federal or state financial aid, you must enroll only in courses required for your degree. You are not eligible for aid once all degree requirements are complete, even if you have not applied for graduation.

Double Majors – Plan Strategically!

  • If you are pursuing a double major, you should plan to take the final required courses for both majors in your last semester.

Schedule an appointment if you need to:

  • Get feedback on your proposed course schedule
  • Change/add a major (you may need to meet with a different advisor)
  • Change/add/remove a minor
  • Register for an internship, independent study, or course by special arrangement
  • To schedule an appointment, contact the Crouse Center for Academic Advising at 630-844-6870 or request a phone call to schedule.

We will be hosting additional special drop-in hours during the registration period – check your AU email for details on when those are!
