Labyrinth Ambassador Program

Are you a freshman or sophomore looking for unique and dynamic student leadership opportunities during your time at AU? Help others find reflection, restoration, and purpose at the Aurora University Labyrinth by joining the Labyrinth Ambassador Program. Labyrinth Ambassadors facilitate meaningful experiences through hands-on learning and service.

The Labyrinth Ambassador Program has many benefits, including:
- Building leadership skills for future internships and careers.
- Training to become a certified labyrinth facilitator and builder.
- Representing AU at on- and off-campus events — even abroad.
- Exploring holistic wellness, the arts, and spirituality.
- Receiving a certificate upon completing the program.
Having labyrinth experience can be useful in a variety of career paths, such as:
- Art, History, and Museum Studies
- Business
- Education
- Health and Wellness
- Psychology
- Religion and Spirituality
- Social Work
As a Labyrinth Ambassador, you will:
- Learn to introduce the benefits of labyrinth encounters to various audiences.
- Plan, facilitate, and lead 2–7 labyrinth tours each semester.
- Design and build labyrinth-inspired projects.
- Help promote the labyrinth by visiting classes and student groups.
- Host mini-retreats and guided walks.
- Recruit and mentor future ambassadors.
To be eligible, you must complete an application process and meet the following criteria:
- Be a current first-year or sophomore AU student.
- Commit to at least two years of participating in the program, including travel opportunities.
- Embody AU values — collaboration, continuous learning, inclusivity, integrity, and innovation — through empathy, curiosity, and service.
- Submit a letter of recommendation from an AU faculty or staff member.
