ECSI RecoverySelect

Aurora University has partnered with ECSI RecoverySelect to help former students manage past-due balances owed to the university.

RecoverySelect is an account servicing program that offers flexible payment options without interest or payment-plan fees. RecoverySelect is not a collection agency.

Why was my account transferred?

If you are no longer enrolled at Aurora University, or were unable to continue classes because of an outstanding balance, your past-due account will be transferred to RecoverySelect if the balance remains unpaid.

Before an account is transferred, Aurora University will send the student advance notice by mail followed by a final email.

Students may pay their balance in full directly to Aurora University before the transfer date. Once an account has been transferred, payments and payment arrangements must be made directly through RecoverySelect.

What happens after my account is transferred?

RecoverySelect will contact you on behalf of Aurora University using the contact information associated with your account.

Through RecoverySelect, you may:

  • Establish a flexible payment plan
  • Pay your balance in full

RecoverySelect will service the account for approximately 90 days. It is important to respond to RecoverySelect and maintain payment activity during this period. If there is no payment activity for 90 days, the balance will be referred to a third-party collection agency.

Does RecoverySelect charge interest or fees?

RecoverySelect payment plans do not charge interest or additional payment-plan fees.

A $15 returned-payment fee will apply if an ACH payment is returned.

What if I want to return to Aurora University?

Once your account has been transferred, you must work directly with RecoverySelect regarding payments and payment arrangements.

Your RecoverySelect balance must be paid in full before you can return to Aurora University. Establishing a RecoverySelect payment plan does not make you eligible to register for additional classes while a balance remains outstanding.
