New to AU Student Account Checklist

Visit the Online Payment Center

  1. Log in to Okta and click on the “Make a Payment” tab to get to the Online Student Account Payment Center.
  2. From here, you can complete any of the steps below.

Review Your E-Bill or Download an On-Demand Statement

  • E-bills are available the first day of each month and show account activity through the end of the previous month.
  • On-Demand Statements show your account’s status at the time you downloaded it.

Enroll in a Monthly Payment Plan

  • Every semester, follow the prompts to sign up for the plan you need.
  • There is no enrollment fee.
  • Payments are due the 15th of each month and can be scheduled automatically.

Set Up an Authorized User

  1. Click on the “Authorized User” tab.
  2. Click on “Add Authorized User.”
  3. Choose your authorized user’s access:
    • Billing statement and account activity
    • Payment history and account activity
    • Payment plan communication reminders
  4. Add as many authorized users as you want.

Set Up a Personal Profile

  1. Click on “Personal Profile.”
  2. Add a preferred payment method, communication methods, and additional email addresses.

Set Up Direct Deposit

  1. Click on “Electronic Refunds.”
  2. Add your preferred payment method for e-refunds.

Helpful Steps Moving Forward

  • Visit Self-Service to review your financial aid award letter and remaining requirements.
  • Schedule a monthly reminder on your calendar to check your student account.
  • Visit aurora.edu/importantdates to review deadlines and late fee information.
  • Visit the Student Accounts Office in Eckhart Hall room 100 and introduce yourself.
