Aurora University awards generous music scholarships based on the incoming student’s audition (this is separate from any academic merit or need-based aid that the University awards to undergraduate students).
These performance-based music scholarships are awarded to incoming music and non-music majors who demonstrate exceptional performance skills. Music scholarships are awarded across the full range of majors and divided equally among voice, keyboard and instrumental students, as well as the different audition days. Music scholarships are renewable at the end of the academic year for up to four years. Total scholarship amounts, including academic and other AU scholarships, cannot exceed the price of tuition at the university.
Upon completion of your application, audition and interview, your Admission Counselor will contact you regarding the scholarship. Please note, that you must be admitted to Aurora University before your scholarship is revealed to you.
Students who plan to enroll at Aurora University in the fall may apply for a Musical Achievement Scholarship. Awards range from $500-$5,000. Audition requirements are listed in the AU music scholarship packet. If you have any questions, please contact Julianne Vickers, Administrative Assistant for the Music Department, at email@example.com.
Auditions can be scheduled for the following days:
