Music Scholarships
Aurora University awards generous music scholarships to undergraduates based on the incoming student’s audition. These scholarships stack on top of any academic merit or need-based aid that the University awards.
These performance-based music scholarships are awarded to incoming students who demonstrate performance skills and are awarded to any deserving voice, keyboard, and instrumental musician regardless of major. Music scholarships are renewable for up to four years, provided the student is in good academic and musical standing.
Upon completion of your application, audition, and interview, your admission counselor will contact you regarding the scholarship. Please note, that you must be admitted to Aurora University before your scholarship is revealed to you.
Students who plan to enroll at Aurora University may apply for a Music Achievement Scholarship. Awards range from $500-$5,000. Details on the audition requirements, dates, and process are available in the AU music scholarship packet. If it is not possible to attend the stated dates or if you have any questions, please contact the Music Department at music@aurora.edu.
Auditions for new students will take place on February 8 and March 15, 2025, in Parolini 119. Auditions can be scheduled here.
