CAATE Accreditation and Program Outcomes
Aurora University is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Since AU is a CAATE-accredited institution, students who successfully complete the requirements for the Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training are eligible to challenge the Board of Certification Exam (BOC). The data below reflects Aurora University's three-year aggregate of graduates who challenged the BOC exam. First-time pass rates in addition to students who passed the BOC exam on subsequent attempts are reflected in this data.

Aurora University is no longer accepting students into the undergraduate athletic training program. The last undergraduate cohort is expected to graduate in May 2021.
