Theatre Scholarships

Aurora University awards generous theatre scholarships based on the incoming student’s audition and interview. These scholarships stack on top of any academic merit or need-based aid that the university awards.

Scholarships are awarded to incoming theatre majors and non-majors who demonstrate exceptional performance or technical skills. Theatre scholarships are renewable at the end of the academic year for up to four years. Total scholarship amounts, including academic and other AU scholarships, cannot exceed the price of tuition at the university.

Upon completion of your application, audition, and interview, your admission counselor will contact you regarding the scholarship. Please note, you must be admitted to Aurora University before your scholarship is revealed to you.

Students who plan to enroll at Aurora University in the fall may apply for a theatre scholarship. Awards range from $500-$5,000. Details on the audition requirements, dates, and process are available in the AU Theatre Scholarship Packet. If you have any questions, please contact the Theatre department at theatre@aurora.edu.
