Why study American Sign Language?
American Sign Language (ASL) is the fourth most commonly used language in the United States. Learning ASL will empower you to bridge the gap between the hearing and deaf communities. This will give you an advantage in nearly any career field.
AU is one of very few universities to offer an ASL minor. As a minor, you will have experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.
