Spring New Student Orientation

Spring New Student Orientation is designed for new freshman and transfer students who are joining AU during the spring semester. This event is highly encouraged for students starting their AU journey in the spring semester and families are welcome to attend.

Check–in: 8:15 a.m. | Program begins: 9 a.m.
Institute for Collaboration | 1347 Prairie St., Aurora, IL

• Walk your course schedule or take a campus tour.
• Meet one-on-one with financial aid and student accounts staff.
• Take advantage of drop-in advising to get answers to your questions, review your class schedule, or make course changes.
• Learn about career services, academic support, and campus engagement opportunities.
• Hear about the AU experience from faculty and current students.
• Enjoy complimentary lunch in the dining hall (advance registration is preferred).
• Pick up your AU parking permit and student ID.

After the event, you can prepare for the semester by talking with various offices in one convenient location as well as visit the bookstore for any last-minute purchases.

If you’re living on campus, you’ll also be able to start moving in at 1 p.m. More information about move in and housing will be communicated in December.
