We kindly ask that you do not send any packages earlier than one week before your move-in date. Due to limited storage space, we are unable to hold items for extended periods.
Picking Up Mail and Packages
The mailboxes are located in the northeast section of Centennial Hall for all students that reside in halls other than Centennial Hall or Tucker Hall. All students that are residents of Centennial Hall can pick up their mail in the boxes that are located near the south entrance of the building. All students that are residents of Tucker Hall can pick up their mail in the boxes that are located in the northwestern section of the building.
All residential students must go to the main Mail Center at 1501 Southlawn Place to obtain their mailbox number and key. It is very important for students to check their campus mailbox. Students could be receiving important campus information via their on-campus mailbox.
All students must pick up their packages at the Mail Center located at 1501 Southlawn Place.
You will receive an email notification from mailroom@aurora.edu when your package is ready.
If your name is not on the package, it may be delayed. The mailroom will hold it until you can provide the tracking number or proof of your order.
The mailroom will hold packages for 10 days before returning them to the sender.
Yes, someone else can pick up your packages if you are unable due to special circumstances (medical, student teaching, etc.) You must first send an email notifying the staff of who is going to pick up your package and why. That person should also have their student ID with them. Send the email to vgaddy@aurora.edu.
Sending Mail and Packages
Yes, you can send out mail and packages from the mailroom. You can purchase stamps for letters and place them in the outgoing bin near the entrance. We can also assist in sending out packages through USPS or UPS.
Yes, located in the mailroom we have drop-off bins for USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The drivers check the bins daily for outgoing mail.
