Janice Rodriguez

These images are two of ten still life images the artist submitted for her final in a Beginning Photography class at Northern Illinois University. Her images explore floral arrangements, color, and Mexican food products. All images were shot in her small front porch located less than a block away from Aurora University.

Estas imágenes son dos de las diez imágenes de naturaleza muerta que la artista presentó para su final en una clase de fotografía para principiantes en la Universidad de Northern Illinois. Sus imágenes exploran los arreglos florales, el color y los productos alimenticios mexicanos. Todas las imágenes fueron tomadas en su pequeño porche delantero ubicado a menos de una cuadra de la Universidad Aurora.

Artist Biography / Biografía del artista:

Janice Rodriguez earned her Associate in Arts from Waubonsee Community College in 2019 and is pursuing a Bachelors in Visual Communications at Northern Illinois University. She is currently working as the Art Lab Technician in the Art Department at Waubonsee. In 2018 she painted a utility box mural with the Aurora Public Art Commission.

Janice Rodríguez obtuvo su título de Asociado en Artes en Waubonsee Community College en 2019 y está cursando una licenciatura en Comunicaciones Visuales en la Universidad de Northern Illinois. Actualmente trabaja como técnica de laboratorio de arte en el departamento de arte de Waubonsee. En 2018 pintó un mural de caja de servicios públicos con la Comisión de Arte Público de Aurora.
