Admission Requirements

Candidates for the programs must hold a current Illinois Teaching Professional Educator License (Teaching PEL), have at least one year of classroom teaching experience in a Pre-K–12 setting, and currently be under contract as a full-time classroom teacher.

Candidates must submit:

• A completed Aurora University Master of Arts in Educational Technology or Technology Specialist Endorsement admission application (aurora.edu/apply).
• Official transcripts* from all colleges attended: undergraduate degree indicating a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher or a graduate degree indicating a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, both based on a 4.0 scale.
• A current resume documenting teaching and experience using technology to increase student achievement.

*Most institutions use Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse to send transcripts. If your college or university does not use either, please have your official transcripts sent to AU-Etranscripts@aurora.edu or the mailing address below.
