Through Aurora University’s MBA Plus One program’s Strategic Management track, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed to become an effective leader.

The Strategic Management track within AU’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) Plus One program is designed for students who seek a holistic understanding of organizations. You will become proficient in all areas of business, including finance, management, marketing, and operations, while learning to solve complex business problems with data-informed decisions. You will develop a mindset for vision, analytical thinking, problem solving, leadership, flexibility, and curiosity.

Much of your time will be centered on experiential learning — extracting insight from data to solve organizational problems. You will also take part in an internship in your field of interest. All of AU’s courses are taught by experienced professors with a diverse background in business. 

This is a one-year degree that features a 10-week summer term, two eight-week fall modules, and two 8-week spring modules. The spring semester will include a professional internship.

About the MBA Plus One program

AU’s MBA Plus One program allows you to complete your master’s degree in just one year. The program begins in June and finishes the following May. Classes are offered during the day at AU’s main campus.

The MBA Plus One program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to give you a broad understanding of business operations and hone your problem-solving and team-building skills. You’ll apply business theory and research to current business trends and real-world case studies, and you’ll learn from professors who are established experts in their fields.

Internships and immersion opportunities are built into the program. As an AU MBA candidate, you will have the opportunity to participate in graduate-level internships and client-based projects. You will be prepared to apply that knowledge outside of the classroom.
