Why earn an MBA Plus One focused on Digital Marketing at Aurora University?

As an MBA candidate focusing on digital marketing at AU, you will acquire the skills and experience necessary to understand the business of marketing in a digital world. The program will allow you to better understand consumer relationships, navigate technology, and become an effective leader.

The Digital Marketing track within AU’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) Plus One program is designed for students who seek to master communication in a digital world. As an AU MBA candidate, you will explore consumer insight, marketing analytics, and digital marketing strategies and establish a strong foundation from which to advance your career. You will learn how to understand, interpret and make decisions based on complex data sets.

Much of your time will be centered on experiential learning — extracting insight from data to solve marketing problems. You will also take part in an internship in your field of interest. All of AU’s courses are taught by experienced professors with a diverse background in both business and marketing. Curriculum highlights include:

  • Marketing Innovation Capstone

This is a one-year degree that features a 10-week summer term, two eight-week fall modules, and two 8-week spring modules, which will include a professional internship. When you graduate with your MBA you will be prepared to manage marketing communications teams from the perspective of brand, converged media, marketing data analytics, search engine optimization, communication production, and design.

About the MBA Plus One program

AU’s MBA Plus One program allows you to complete your master’s degree in just one year. The program begins in June and finishes the following May. Classes are offered during the day at AU’s main campus.

The MBA Plus One program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to give you a broad understanding of business operations and hone your problem-solving and team-building skills. You’ll apply business theory and research to current business trends and real-world case studies, and you’ll learn from professors who are established experts in their fields.

Internships and immersion opportunities are built into the program. As an AU MBA candidate, you will have the opportunity to participate in graduate-level internships and client-based projects. You will be prepared to apply that knowledge outside of the classroom.
