AU Introduces Nursing Program for Career Changers

Aurora University has introduced a direct-entry Master of Science in Nursing program for individuals without a nursing background who want to enter the profession. Students with a bachelor’s degree in other fields can earn an MSN in two years and become eligible for their registered-nurse license. The priority application deadline is June 1 for the first cohort starting the fall of 2022. The application process for fall 2022 is ongoing until all seats are filled.

Experts predict that Illinois and the nation will require an ever-growing number of nurses in the decades ahead. AU is committed to helping meet this predicted nursing shortage.
