Reporting Disruptive, Disturbing or Distressed Behavior
How to Make a Referral
Referrals to the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) can be made by completing the Report It! form, available to students, faculty and staff, by using the appropriate links below.
If you are an AU student:
Students can make an anonymous report by completing this form. While reports can be made anonymously, it is highly recommended that you provide your contact information so the BIT can respond appropriately. Reports can also be made by going to SpartanNet. Once on SpartanNet, the Report It! form can be found in the lower right-hand corner under “Campus Links.”
If you are an AU faculty or staff member:
Faculty or staff can make an anonymous report by completing this form. While reports can be made anonymously, it is highly recommended that you provide your contact information so the BIT can respond appropriately. Reports can also be made by going to SpartanNet. Once on SpartanNet, the Report It! form can be found in the top right area of the page.
Once submitted, the Report It! Form will then be distributed to the members of the BIT. The BIT will review the report, consult with the student and others as necessary, and implement any intervention determined appropriate by the team.
The BIT understands that protecting privacy is essential to its effectiveness. Once a report is filed, information will only be shared as necessary.
