Winterfest: A Christmas Concert

Performance times: 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The annual holiday concert takes on a new twist! Winterfest will feature all of the ensembles in the Music Department of Aurora University. The audience will be delighted by a continually changing landscape of ensembles including Aurora Singers, SpartanCor and University Chorale, the AU Band, the AU Orchestra, Flute Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. Each group will offer pieces of their own and in collaboration with other ensembles. Excerpts from Vivaldi's Gloria, O Holy Night, Holberg Suite, It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, Audience Sing along, pieces on AU's magnificent organ, and culminating with Leroy Anderson's A Christmas Festival performed by all of the musicians.
