Aurora University Music Scholarships
Aurora University offers two generous music scholarships to incoming students. Each scholarship is renewable at the end of the academic year for up to four years. Students can apply for both, but there are separate applications they need to complete. The total amount of scholarships cannot surpass $5,000 per year. Additionally, total scholarship amounts, including academic and other AU scholarships, cannot exceed the price of tuition at the university. Senior Musical Excellence Scholarship Competition — Application deadline EXTENDED TO Friday, February 13, 2015.
Aurora University is dedicated to developing artistry and technique while maintaining and inspiring your passion for the art form. This scholarship is intended to encourage and reward significant work for musical aptitude. One pianist and one vocalist will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship renewable for four years equaling $20,000 of total scholarship in music. The prize winners will perform at an Aurora University event during the 2015-2016 academic year either as part of an ensemble or as a soloist.

Junior Musical Excellence Scholarship Competition — Application deadline EXTENDED TO Friday, February 13, 2015.
There will be two prizes. First prize: $500.00 Second prize: $250.00
The prize winners will perform at an Aurora University event during the 2015-2016 academic year either as part of an ensemble or as a soloist.

Musical Achievement Scholarship
Students who plan to enroll at Aurora University in the fall may apply each spring for a Musical Achievement Scholarship, which is renewable up to four years. Awards range from $500-$3,000. Audition dates are listed in the AU music audition packet. Auditions can be scheduled online.
