Check-In Information
In the weeks prior to your specific move-in date, you will receive an email with detailed instructions regarding the move-in process. During your move-in, you will check in with Campus Life, receive/activate your AU student ID, receive your residence hall room key, mail key, and important paperwork, and have the opportunity to obtain a parking pass. All students will be asked to complete a Room Condition Report (RCR) upon their arrival to their new room.

Check-Out Information
Leading up to an official end-of-the-semester hall closing date, students living in the residence halls will receive communication regarding move-out details via email, hall postings, and floor meetings. All students without an approved break agreement must check out of the residence halls by 5 p.m. on the date of hall closing.

Students fully moving out of their residence hall room (during or at the end of a semester) must complete a full check-out with their Resident Assistant or another Campus Life staff member. During this check-out, the condition of the room at the time of check-out will be assessed, the residence hall room key collected, and the student will receive a copy of their check-out paperwork.
