Museum Hours During the Academic Year

During the Fall and Spring semesters, the Schingoethe Museum is open the following hours:

Please note: The center is closed on Mondays, Saturdays, holidays observed by the university, and during University term breaks.

Museum Summer Hours

During the summer, the Schingoethe Museum is open the following hours:

Please note: The Museum will be closed for the month of August.  The Schingoethe Center is also closed Saturdays, Mondays, Sundays, and observed University holidays.

Group tours are by appointment.  To request a tour, click here to go to our online order form or call (630) 844-7843 for more information.

Admission

Your admission donations help us to provide services, exhibits, and programs to the larger community.

Admission is FREE to:

• Aurora University students, staff, and faculty
• American Association of Museums members
• Friends of the Schingoethe Center members
• ICOM members
• Illinois Association of Museums members
• Association of Midwest Museums members (AMM)
• Illinois Art Education Association members (IAEA)
  

Annual Membership

Become a member of the Schingoethe Center and support an organization that helps others gain the same passion you have for the understanding and preservation of the Native American cultural heritage! Your membership also entitles you to a 15% discount in the Museum Store and free admission to the Museum.
