Emergency
If an emergency situation arises, call 911 using any telephone on or off campus, or you can call Campus Public Safety at ext. 555 or 630-844-5450. Emergency Blue Light phones are placed in multiple locations across campus, and can connect you immediately with our Campus Public Safety dispatch center.
 
AU Alerts
In the event of an emergency, the university communicates important messaging through the AU Alert emergency notification system. To receive AU Alerts to both your phone and email, please sign up at aurora.edu/alerts. Emergency messages will also broadcast across all AU social media feeds and the university’s home webpage.

Weather Information
Homecoming Weekend will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the university will activate the AU Alert system as well as a campus siren. Seek shelter immediately in one of these locations: the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley Center for Cultural Enrichment, the Institute for Collaboration, Dunham Hall, or Eckhart Hall. If you are unable to get to one of these shelters, please proceed to the interior hallway of a building or safe shelter location. Stay away from windows or glass doors. An “All-Clear” alert will be sent indicating when the storm danger has passed.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located inside the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley Center for Cultural Enrichment, the Institute for Collaboration, Dunham Hall, and Alumni Hall.
