Impact of COVID-19 on Admissions

We want to provide prospective and admitted students and parents with the most current information about AU’s response to COVID-19. We will keep this page updated as the situation evolves.

A message from Aurora University President Dr. Rebecca Sherrick

We at Aurora University know that the college decision process is challenging during even the calmest of times. The COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertainty that has made it even more challenging for many people. We are here to help.

On this page, we’ve gathered information about every step of the college decision process— from virtual visits to the application to financial aid—to give students and parents all of the information they need in one place.

Our faculty, staff, and administration are ready, willing, and excited about welcoming you to AU. Regardless of learning mode, our faculty will continue to provide an outstanding AU education that prepares students for success after graduation. Our coaches, counselors, and advisors are ready to walk at your side, in person or remotely, to ensure that you have a smooth transition to life at AU.

At AU, every decision is made with the success of our students in mind. That’s always been true, and it’s true now. Regardless of how things evolve over the next several months, the AU community will help you achieve your goals and reach your dreams.

The AU faculty, staff, and administration are ready, willing, and excited for your arrival at AU. Dr. Rebecca Sherrick, AU President
Whatever the circumstances, AU's admission counselors remain connected with students and parents at each stage in the decision process. James Lancaster, vice president for enrollment
