Adjunct Faculty - Professional Writing

Aurora University is an independent, comprehensive institution founded in 1893 offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Our two campuses are located in Aurora, Illinois and on the shores of Geneva Lake in Wisconsin. Additionally, we have an Educational Center in Woodstock, Illinois. We seek people passionately involved in the educational process who will help us realize our vision.

Aurora University is searching for qualified instructors as part of its adjunct faculty pool to teach in the follow undergraduate areas of the Department of Communication:

  • Business & Professional Writing
  • Technical Writing
  • Grant Writing
  • Sports Writing
  • Medical and Science Writing
  • Media Writing (script, advertising, public relations, etc.)

While a terminal degree is preferred, a master's degree in communication or related field is required.  Industry experience and college-level teaching experience preferred.

Classes are offered days and evenings at the Aurora Main Campus, Aurora Orchard Center, and occasionally through AU Online.
