Adjunct Faculty - Bilingual Education/Linguistics

Aurora University is an independent, comprehensive institution founded in 1893 offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Our two campuses are located in Aurora, Illinois and on the shores of Geneva Lake in Wisconsin. Additionally, we have an Educational Center in Woodstock, Illinois. We seek people passionately involved in the educational process who will help us realize our vision.

Aurora University Online is searching for adjunct faculty to teach online bilingual education courses, particularly Linguistics for Teaching English Language Learners:

This course provides the study of linguistics applied to teaching English Language Learners. The course provides exposure to English phonology, morphology, syntax, analysis, and application of linguistic theory. Participants will also study theories and practices involving first and second language acquisition. (Includes clinical experience)

A Master’s degree in bilingual education or a closely related field is required, and a terminal degree is preferred. Online teaching experience is strongly preferred, and course development experience is a plus.

Please include “bilingual education” in the subject line of your email application material submission.
