Adjunct Faculty – Music: Voice

Aurora University is an independent, comprehensive institution founded in 1893 offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Our two campuses are located in Aurora, Illinois and on the shores of Geneva Lake in Wisconsin. Additionally, we have an Educational Center in Woodstock, Illinois. The Music Department at Aurora University seeks qualified Voice Instructors to teach the following courses during the 2018-19 academic year:

  • Applied Voice for Non-majors
  • Intermediate Applied Voice
  • Advanced Applied Voice

Masters in Music: Vocal Performance, required. The preferred candidate will be an excellent and experienced vocal pedagogue in the genre of classical/bel canto singing with a supportive attitude toward musical theater.   There is no preference for voice part. Applicants with the ability to teach vocal literature (opera and art song) or diction for singers will be considered highly.   Aurora University will favor the voice instructor that exemplifies professionalism, ethics, compassion, and drive toward artistic excellence. Reports to Chair, Music Department.
