We will be streaming live video of all ceremonies for those who can't come to campus. The AU ceremonies will be shown on the AU commencement website and the GWC ceremony will be shown on the GWC commencement website.
Aurora Ticket Information
Tickets will be handed to you with your commencement packet that is to be picked up at Cap and Gown Days, April 2-3, 2019. Each degree candidate for the undergraduate ceremony is allotted four tickets and each degree candidate for the graduate ceremony is allotted six tickets. Due to a large graduating class, additional tickets are not available. All guests, including infants and children, must have a ticket to enter the Quadrangle. For safety reasons, only guests with tickets are allowed on the Quadrangle. Those without tickets will not be allowed on the campus and will be asked to leave.
In order to accommodate additional guests that you may have, ticketed overflow seating will be available for people to view the Commencement ceremony that will be live streamed in Crimi Auditorium. Once Crimi is full, we will have additional tickets to view the live stream in Perry Theatre. This seating will be limited and will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis. These tickets are for Crimi Auditorium or Perry Theatre only and cannot be used to gain entrance to the tent or Quadrangle. You can register your guests by clicking on the links below.
Our goal is to ensure equal access for all participants. If any part of the ceremony, including seating and parking, presents a barrier to you or a guest, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 630-844-7842 by April 29, 2019.
Safety and Security
For the protection of all graduates and guests, everyone entering the venues will be subject to screening. Please be prepared to allow extra time to go through the metal detectors and be seated. For more information, visit the Safety and Security page.
