We Make College Affordable

Student in Financial Aid Office

We understand that a college education can be one of the biggest investments a family makes. At AU, there are no boundaries in pursuit of educational excellence. A college degree is within your financial reach.

AU has one of the lowest private school tuition rates in Illinois. At about $25,000 a year, AU’s tuition is $10,000 to $15,000 less than many of its peer institutions. In practice, most AU students pay about $7,000 in annual tuition after scholarships and grants.

We are dedicated to putting the needs of our students first through careful management, thoughtful stewardship, and wise investments. This is how we keep our tuition low in relation to peers. We know that we must live within our means to protect students from rapidly increasing tuition rates.

Most students receive generous scholarships and financial aid directly from AU. As a result, AU students graduate with less debt than the national average.
