What You Can Do with a Major in Spanish with K-12 Educator Licensure

At Aurora University, our Spanish with K-12 Educator Licensure program is designed to prepare you for your role as a teacher and enable you to make a lasting impact on the lives of our future leaders.

In this major, your professors will not only help you master the language but also help you gain the skills necessary to teach Spanish in K–12 classrooms across Illinois. Through our partnerships with area schools, you’ll work alongside teaching professionals in classroom settings similar to what you’ll face your first day on the job. Your career as a professional Spanish teacher will come to life.

Recommended for students who are interested in teaching the Spanish language and culture to students in high school, middle school or elementary school.
