Keyboard and Voice Day 2020

The Department of Music at Aurora University is pleased to present Keyboard and Voice Day 2020. AU faculty, staff, and students will provide performances, workshops, and master classes culminating in participant performances at the end of the day. Keyboard and Voice Day is a great opportunity for high school students to participate in master classes and workshops to hone their skills for auditions, competitions and performing in general. Performances and master classes will be held across campus in our newly renovated Parolini Music Center and splendid performance spaces, Crimi Auditorium and Ethel Tapper Recital Hall.

Time: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Deadline to register: Wednesday, February 12, 2020 

Eligibility: Voice (classical and musical theater), Piano and Organ students grades 9-12 and community college. Student musicians, parents and teachers are invited to visit Aurora University’s campus to learn from Aurora’s excellent music faculty, and explore what AU has to offer students who are interested in pursuing a degree in music and expand their musical skills throughout their college years.

Who should attend?

Piano, organ and voice students (grades 9-12, community college) of all levels. Parents and teachers are welcome to attend. A free college prep workshop will be offered to parents.

What are the costs?

Registration is FREE for the day (includes registration, lunch for student participants, all sessions, master classes and optional participant performance).
