The Master of Science in Nursing program at Aurora University is designed for students who have a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field. The comprehensive program prepares students for nursing practice and leadership roles in healthcare settings.
The curriculum combines a strong foundation that will prepare you to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam along with graduate-level coursework focused on areas such as leadership and health policy.
Our distinctive teaching environment is designed to engage students in active learning that replicates real-world settings.
You will work closely with our dedicated faculty in state-of-the-art nursing and simulation labs to develop the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in the ever-changing healthcare environment.
You will apply those skills and gain hands-on experience as you work alongside nursing faculty at top area hospitals such as Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago or Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva.
The accelerated 75-credit-hour program can be completed full time over two years, including summers.
