Teaching Philosophy

I have been teaching for the last 15 years, including three here at Aurora University. I have also taught in the Chicago Public Schools, Columbia College Chicago, Northeastern Illinois University, Illinois State University and Robert Morris University. Aurora University has that rare environment where a student can receive personal attention and also benefit from the faculty's wealth of experience and knowledge. I think about building a bridge when teaching mathematics to students and teachers. You must start with a strong conceptual foundation and an effective design. You must also remember the purpose of the bridge.
