Program Requirements — Master of Science in Accountancy

These requirements will apply to students enrolling at AU in the 2018-2019 academic year. Current students can find the requirements that apply to them by consulting the relevant academic catalog.

Students admitted to the MSA program without a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited institution of higher learning may be required to complete additional foundational coursework as a condition of admission to the program.  These situations will be handled on a case by case basis.

Required Elective Courses

Students must complete 6 semester hours of approved elective coursework. MSA students may also select one non-MSA classes in MBA, MPA, or MKT graduate programs to fulfill the MSA elective requirement (maximum of 3 semester hours of non-MSA electives may be used to fulfill the MSA elective requirement).
