Peer Advisors

Peer advisors assist students in their transition to Aurora University. As select upperclassmen students, Peer advisors lead AU4U summer orientation and registration, and become a mentor to new students once they arrive on campus.

Every first-year student is linked to a peer advisor during summer orientation. Each advisor typically will be connected to a group of 15 to 20 first-year students, which allows for personal interactions and friendships to develop among students.

Your peer advisor is a valuable campus connection, and can help answer any questions, talk through concerns, promote social opportunities and orientate you to the AU community. Beyond summer orientation, your peer advisor will participate in fall Welcome Week activities, attend campus events with their first-year cohort, and maintain continuous communication with you throughout your first year.

Note: Confidential information will not be given online. All advising questions are answered by Crouse Center student interns.
