My name is Raul Buendia and I am a senior double majoring in Finance and also Business & Commerce with a minor in Mathematics. I'm also the Treasurer for the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) and Aurora University Finance Association (AUFA). I also served as a freshman and sophomore Senator on A.U.S.A. in the past. I am a Veteran of Afghanistan and current soldier in the Illinois Army National Guard.My name is Joey Mysliwiec and I am from Antioch, IL. I am double majoring in Criminal Justice and Business. I love to get involved on campus, holding a position as President of Future Leaders of the World (FLOW), a member of the American Criminal Justice Association (ACJA), I work as a Football Film Coordinator, also I work as a Sodexo Student Promotions Coordinator. I may have the opportunity this year/hope to study abroad at one of the prestigious universities in Europe, and would like to go on a Mission trip to Western Bolivie next summer in coordination with the Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action. I am an avid movie collector, and I pride myself on being able to find good deals. I could probably eat chocolate every day for the rest of my life in addition to any other type of candy. I take everything I hear with a grain of salt and obtain a lot of my wisdom from my many past experiences. I feel, "Progression within yourself is a key to opening your future. My name is Khiry Davis and I am a Business Commerce and Accounting major. I am a senior from Villa Park, IL. I am the Intramural Coordinator and a member of many clubs on campus I am also a Peer Advisor. I am a pretty nice and open person so do not be afraid to say hello. My name is Jean Johnson. I am a senior in the BSW program. I transferred to AU after earning an Associates of Arts in Human/Social Services and an Associates of Science in Liberal Arts (Spanish emphasis), from Highland Community College in Freeport, IL. As a student at Highland I was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, serving one term as Vice President, and another term as President. I was also a math tutor for the Learning Center, the editor of the student run newspaper the Highland Chronicle, a member of the debate team, and finally a member and a peer mentor for Project Succeed, part of the TRIO program. I am glad to be a part of A.U.S.A., as I am a firm believer in Servant Leadership. I am also a member of AU's Social Work Association (SWA) and a participant in the LEAD program here at AU. My personal philosophy is one must always look for ways to learn and change in order to strive for excellence and reach your fullest potential.

I am a triple major in Health Science, Business and Commerce, and Organizational Management with a triple minor in Physiology, Psychology, and Art. When I graduate from AU I will be attending graduate school to earn a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. I am very close with my family, I can always find solace and inspirations from them. I have an older brother along with two little sisters, one of which is now a freshman here at AU. I love basketball, baseball, international traveling, movies, tattoos, and sleeping. When I "grow up", I don't want to rich and famous but I hope to be comfortable and fulfilled.
Hi, my name is Tiffany Walz and I am a junior here at AU. I was born in California but was raised in Lakewood, Ohio. I graduated from Lakewood High School in 2009 and will be graduating from AU in 2013. I am majoring in Communications and I am considering a minor in Art. I am a Resident Assistant in the residence halls. I am also a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, F.L.Y., and Vice President of Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society. I love photography and taking pictures of nature. I love Disney movies and songs, especially The Lion King! My friends and family mean the world to me. My favorite shows of all time are Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Pretty Little Liars. I love traveling and experiencing everything this world has to offer!My name is Monica De Iorio, I am a junior Psychology major with minors in Biology and Physiology and I am from Naperville, IL. I plan to go on to graduate school and get my Ph.D. possibly in neuropsychology or developmental psychology. I am a proud member of the AU community, involved in the Honors Program, and the LEAD Program. I am also a member of the choir and am the Senior Resident Assistant and Multicultural Resident Assistant for the University owned houses. Recently I began working as a server at Chili's. I am generally optimistic and love to laugh. My friends and family mean the world to me and I can often be found sitting outside enjoying the quad with a couple of them. I also love food.

My name is Jose Chavez and I am from Aurora, IL. I am a Criminal Justice major with a minor in Psychology. My ultimate goal is to become a Federal Agent for the United States Government. At AU I am an active member of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) and the Aurora Criminal Justice Association (ACJA). I am a Peer Advisor and also a student worker at the Crouse Center. Last year I was part of the Men's Soccer team but unfortunately due to injury I cannot play this year. My top 3 things to do on campus are study in the Library, go to sporting events, and hang out with friends. In my time off I love to visit with my family. I believe that confidence is the light to every dark moment you shall encounter.My name is Kaylee Howard. I am a sophomore from Murieta, California. I am studying Criminal Justice with a minor in Museum Studies. I run Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor track here at AU. I've been involved in student government from 7th grade to my senior year of high school and now here at AU. When I was in high school besides being involved in student government I played soccer and ran cross country and ran track all four years. I am also a second degree black belt in Full Contact Mixed Martial Arts. When I am back home in California I enjoy surfing, chilling with friends and family and updating my fossil collection. Hello there, my name is Dulce Heelan! I'm a sophomore at AU this year and my hometown is Round Lake. I am a Health Science major pursuing a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. I've been working at a vet hospital for four years now and I know that animals are my passion. I enjoy dedicating my time to helping others and I am eager at any opportunity to donate my time. In addition to participating in A.U.S.A., I'm involved in other or organizations such as ARISE, Mu Sigma Pi, and FLOW. I love to learn new and random things like crocheting, juggling and baking. Laughter is the best medicine and with jokes from funny jokes on Android I could guarantee a laugh from anyone. I plan on traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, especially the cuisine! I truly believe that "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
Hey, my name is Rafael Armenta. I was born in the windy city of Chicago and I grew up in the town of Cicero. I graduated from J. Sterling Morton East High School. I am the youngest child of two and I have three Chihuahuas. I am an easy going person and once you get to know me you can't get enough of me. I am very shy at first glance but once I get comfortable with the people around me I tend to be more outgoing. I am currently a sophomore majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Finance. I hope one day to work abroad. I love almost any kind of music as long as it has meaning behind it. In my two years at AU I have been involved in LASO. Currently I am a part of LASO, A.U.S.A., AUFA, as well as a student worker for Student Accounts.

Hello, my name is Analidia Ceja. I was born in Aurora, IL and graduated from Aurora East High School. I am a freshman at AU and I'm majoring in Health Science. Aside from A.U.S.A., I am also part of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO). Currently I work for Calvin Klein as a sales associate, as well as in Communities in Schools as a tutor for students in local area public schools. I love all types of music and enjoy attending all types of concerts. I am a very joyful and determined person who has many aspirations in life.
My name is Christy Savellano. I am currently a freshman here at AU and I am from Oglesby, IL. I am majoring in Pre-Medicine (Health Science) and will be getting a minor in Spanish. I play tennis here at Au and I am in FLY, on the Activities Programming Board (APB), and a member of Circle K. I also work with Communities in Schools as a student leader. I volunteer for the Special Olympics in my spare time and I have taught tennis lessons for the past four summers. Some of my hobbies include traveling, volunteering, reading, hanging out with family and friends, shopping, and being outdoors. Until I was 8 years old I lived in the Philippines, I then moved to America on my 8th birthday. In high school I was President of Student Council, Foreign Languages Club, Science Club and Renaissance Club. I attended leadership conferences, such as Hugh O'Brian Leadership Seminal at U of I my sophomore year. I attended national leadership conventions with Josten's Renaissance my sophomore, junior and senior year of high school (twice in Florida and once in California). My senior year we presented at the national convention in California and won the Eagle's Choice Award for our school displays. I have qualified for state for Econ Illinois Financial Challenge 2010 and 2011. I also received the President's Volunteer Service Award (2010) and completed 400 volunteer hours for Gold Hord Service Award. Throughout high school I had perfect attendance all 4 years and I helped bring Challenge Day to LaSalle-Peru Township High School. "Be the change you wish to see in the world"-Ganhdi.
My name is Marissa Alexander. I am 18 and a freshman from Pekin, IL. It's an average size town of about 37,000 people. I went to Pekin Community High School where I played golf, and participated in Key Club and Best Buddies. My high school had about 2,500 students so coming to AU was not a huge change. Here at AU I am a Pre-Athletic Training major and I have not yet decided on a minor. I run Cross Country along with Track & Field. In my free time I like to run, read, and hang out with friends. I have two older siblings, one of which is a junior senator in A.U.S.A. here at AU, Heather Ramer. My favorite food is broccoli and my favorite drink is YooHoo.
Hello, my name is Amy Zepeda. I am from Aurora, IL and I graduated from Aurora East High School. Currently I am a first year student here at AU majoring in Health Science hoping to make a difference in my community. In high school I was very involved and I hope to be as involved here at AU. Apart from A.U.S.A. I am a member of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) as well as the Cheer & Dance team. I work with Communities in Schools and help tutor children in an after school program at Beaupre Elementary. In my spare time I enjoy visiting with my family and close friends. I love music and discovering new artists, but my favorite band will always be The Beatles. I've also had an obsession with Hello Kitty since I was little, I probably own over one hundred Hello Kitty items.
