Spartan Athletic Training Student Organization

Spartan Athletic Training Student Organization (SATSO) is a highly involved student organization on AU's campus. We support athletic training students through educational and scholarly opportunities and provide an environment for discussion of issues related to sports medicine and athletic training. We also are involved in the community through various service projects.

SATSO events include:

Bi-monthly meetings to discuss issues and plan events
Opportunities to participate in professional events, including state and national conventions
Volunteer opportunities with:
- Chicago Marathon medical staff
- Feed My Starving Children
- Project Linus
- Career Expo
- Canned food drives
- Toys for Tots
- Athletic Training Awareness Month
- Alcohol Awareness Week
- Ronald McDonald House pop tab drive
