How do I check my voicemail from on- and off-campus locations?

From your own telephone:

1. Dial 7820 or  press the "Message" button (see * below if your Message button does not work).
2. Enter your password.

From another campus phone that has voicemail set up for another user:

1. Dial 7820.
2. Enter #9
3. Follow the voice prompts.

From a local phone that does not have voicemail set up (such as a wall courtesy phone):

1. Dial 7820.
2. Dial 9 plus your 4 digit extension.
3. Follow the voice prompts.

From an off-campus telephone:

1. Dial (630) 844-7820.
2. When you hear the auto attendant message, press 9, followed immediately by your 4-digit extension.
3. Follow the voice prompts.

* If you have an 8 or 16 button phone, you have a Message button that you can use to connect directly to voicemail, but it may not be set up yet. To program the Message button, do the following:

1. Press the Feature button.
2. Press the Message button.
3. Press 7820.
4. Press the Feature button again.

Your personal voicemail box can be accessed from most locations, on and off-campus.
