What attracted you to AU?
Cross Country and Track

What is your favorite class and why?
Forensic Science. I really like the TV show "CSI: Miami," and it's part of what I want to do with my major.

Favorite professor and why?
Brandon Kooi. He was my intro to Criminal Justice class and has helped me with a lot of after-graduation opportunities. And, he has helped me become really involved with the ACJA, the American Criminal Justice Association.

What do you hope to be doing after AU?
Getting a job as a police officer or evidence technician

What advice would you give a first year or prospective student?
Have an open mind and be confident. Say Hi and make new friends.

The AU community is a close-knit group of students, professors and alumni. What's it like?
A friendly, loving new family.

What is your favorite part about AU?
I like the trees in the fall.

What kind of activities do you do as an AU student?
Cross Country and Track

What do you do in your free time?
I'm learning how to snowboard.

Where is the best place to study?
My room when no one else is there or at the library with friends.

What do you like most about your team sport?
It's a small family and we spend a lot of time together out in the forest running.

What benefits have you gained from participating in athletics here at AU?
Making new friends and staying in shape

How does AU's Division III level of athletic competition interact with the other aspects of your collegiate lifestyle?
School comes first. It's great when friends and family come out to show support!
