Accounting for Non-Accountants: Free Aurora University Workshop Aug. 27

AURORA, Ill.—“Accounting for Non-Accountants,” a free workshop, will be held by Aurora University’s Human Resources Institute from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, in the University Banquet Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.

The guest speaker is Mary Tarling, AU assistant professor of accounting.

She will discuss interpreting financial statements, the mystery of budgets, and HR professionals’ role in accounting.

The public is invited. Networking and refreshments are at 7:30 a.m.
