Considered to be one of the most gifted singing actresses of our time, Maureen McGovern returns to Music by the Lake in an opening night performance with the Chicago Philharmonic. With a career spanning 35 years, and a list of award winning performances on the concert stage, and in film and television, this national treasure has been called “The Stradivarius Voice.” She joins charismatic conductor Michael Berkowitz in a program of Henry Mancini’s best loved tunes, as well as signature selections Ms. McGovern will present with her jazz trio.
