Business and Commerce Major (B.A. or B.S.)
The Business and Commerce major provides engagement in all of the functional areas of business and the opportunity to acquire an additional major in another business related area or in a program outside of the Dunham School of Business. While providing a general course of study covering each business discipline area, the Business and Commerce major also provides a solid grounding to be prepared for entering the business world. In addition, this major includes prerequisite courses for all other business related majors and minors.
Double Major and Multiple Minor Opportunities
In addition to completing the Business and Commerce major, students can pursue a second business related major by completing additional requirements. A breakdown of required hours is below:
- A degree from Aurora University requires 120 semester hours (this includes 38 hours of general education requirements)
- Business and Commerce major requirements total 41 hours
- A second business major requires 20 - 33 hours (including a minimum 8 hours of internship credit)
- Students will have 8 - 21 hours left to complete, which will allow for courses toward minors or electives.
