Dr. Eisinger is Associate Professor of Business at Aurora University teaching courses in economics and finance. Previously he served as Vice President for Finance at Aurora University where he was responsible for managing the university’s financial resources, including oversight of accounting, cash management, budgeting, risk management and financing activities. Additionally, his duties include the oversight of the human resources, bookstore, and physical properties functions. Before joining the administration Dr. Eisinger was a faculty member in the Dunham School of Business of Aurora University where he taught courses in finance and economics, including corporate finance, investments, securities analysis, strategic management and introductory economics. Prior to coming to Aurora, Dr. Eisinger worked for eighteen years as a securities analyst with Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Company, an international bond rating firm. At Duff & Phelps Dr. Eisinger was a Senior Vice President and Managing Director and was responsible for the Corporate Ratings Group that encompassed the activities of the Industrial, Global Power, Telecommunications and Project Finance ratings areas. He was chairman of the Corporate Ratings Committee and was responsible for maintaining the integrity of the rating process and the quality of the analytical product.
