The study of voice and the art of singing is not a linear progression.  It is not easily measured by standard means - the vocal process more closely approximates the unraveling of an intense knot — seeking the seamless loop that is the essence of a balanced singer.  This seamless loop that we are constantly striving for focuses upon many facets - of course a good vocal technique, exquisite languages, beautiful tones, and musicality, but it goes further than that.  It also delves into connecting to the music in an emotional way that allows you to fall in love with it; and at the same time allowing that love to shine through us as we perform.  Ultimately, this is what we strive for as performers - showing the audience the love, or our souls.
