Teaching Philosophy

Commitment to life-long learning and the need to link education with the business community motivated me to join academia. These commitments are carried to my students in the classroom and to the business community in my work with professional associations, selected consulting engagements and board service.

The commitments reinforce each other. At the university, they provide a basis to improve the relevance of instruction and research. In service to professional organizations and clients, they provide a unique perspective when seeking solutions in today's complex economy.
