spanish-index.jpgDo you want to make a difference in the lives of others by being able to communicate with people who speak a different language than you do?  Do you enjoy learning about the language, culture and traditions of other countries?  If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, you should think about studying Spanish at Aurora University.

Students who major or minor in Spanish at AU are very marketable upon graduation.  Recent graduates are employed in a variety of fields.  The flexibility of the Spanish program allows you to combine your college experience with another academic major such as business, criminal justice, social work, psychology, sociology, history or political science.

As a Spanish major, you will be able to select from a variety of courses and learning experiences.  Students have been able to earn credit by means of May session programs in Barcelona, Spain, as well as Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  Additionally, students have experienced hands-on learning by helping to run a Spanish Club at a local elementary school and as participant in an established literacy outreach program.
