rec-admin2.jpgIt's always nice when your favorite activities in life can also become the basis of your career! If you enjoy sports, outdoor adventure, organizing special events, marketing recreational equipment, managing interesting programs or helping others get the most out of their leisure time, there may be a place for you in recreation administration.

The George Williams College program has a long history of providing excellent leaders in recreation, and our 95 percent placement rate means you will become part of a large and interconnected alumni network with a proud tradition of commitment to the profession. Recreation Administration involves directing and managing the programs and business operation systems of recreation and leisure agencies such as park districts, outdoor experiential education centers, state and national parks, recreation centers, youth organizations such as YMCAs, camps, conference centers, special events, resorts, campuses, and private recreation businesses.

Our National Recreation and Park Association accredited undergraduate program offers a bachelor's degree in recreation administration under two tracks: Commercial and Public Recreation or Outdoor Pursuits.
