I hope to pass on my passion for nursing to those who are entering the nursing profession. I was born and raised in the Elburn, IL area. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1979 with a degree in Health Education. I became interested in nursing the summer before my junior year. So after graduation I was a substitute teacher and began taking courses for my nursing degree. I graduated from Kishwaukee Community College in 1983 and worked for several years before continuing my education. I graduated from Lewis University in 2003 with my Bachelors degree in Nursing and completing my education by graduating from Lewis University in 2009 with my Masters degree in Nursing education.
