I am a native of the Aurora area and have lived in the area for most of my life. After earning my undergraduate degree at Aurora University, I worked for a time as an employee of the campus television station. I began work as an instructor at AU in 2003 after finishing my MA in Communication. In the meantime, I have directed and worked on a number of documentary film projects, in addition to managing a small media production business over the summers. I strive to build authentic experiences into my classes and engage students' creativity whenever possible.
